Austin keeps on getting nice weather for almost a week then either rain or cold weather comes back. I am so ready for full/complete spring and summer. My winter sweaters and coats have been packed away for three weeks now and I refused to bring them back out when the temperature dropped to 2ºC last Saturday. Today is one of those rainy days… so I made congee later this afternoon with shrimp, clams, mussels, and scallops. I used one rice cup of the short-grain sushi rice and one rice cup of Thai glutinous rice.
